CH Topform's Edward MH QAA
March 15, 1991 ~ August 5, 2001
| Welcome to the home page of Topform's Edward, a most
extraordinary Labrador Retriever. Ed was out of a Champion/Master Hunter
dam and by a Champion/Senior Hunter sire and proudly followed in his
parents footsteps. Ed achieved his bench Championship two days short of
his third birthday and collected 5 best of breed awards along the
way. He qualified in four straight hunt tests for his Junior Hunter
title at 18 months and again went 6 for 6 to earn his Master Hunter
title just days after his 4th birthday. Edward was also successful
in two Field Trial Qualifying stakes with a second place and a jam.
While Edward may have moved on to the Rainbow Bridge, his legacy lives
on in his many progeny who also have achieved many successes in the
breed ring, field events and other performance endeavors.
Greatly loved and missed, Ed's ashes were buried by the pond on our property on a beautiful fall evening and as we stood over him holding hands two blue wing teal flew over the pond. A few minutes later two yearling dear stood on the back side of the pond on the edge of the woods. It gave our hearts peace to know they mourned his passing also and that his spirit was welcomed. |
